Job Description
Academic Tutor supporting Lakes Region Community College students across Computer Science, Math, and English. Conducting one-hour tutoring sessions in person or remotely on an as-needed schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Tutor students across academic disciplines
- Meet with students for one-hour sessions, often over a period of weeks
- Conduct tutoring sessions in person or remotely
- Provide tutoring on an as-needed basis
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Teaching or tutoring experience in a chosen discipline
- Expertise in Computer Science, Math, or English sought
- College transcripts required with application
- Successful completion of a requisite background check
- Residency within a New England state: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island
- Ability to tutor students in assigned disciplines
