Job Description
Demand and Supply Analyst managing Depot inventory, transfer orders, and demand forecasts. Supporting Restaurant Technologies’ bulk cooking oil management services through supply chain analysis and optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Own Depot inventory decisions and transactions
- Create and manage transfer orders to Depots within Oracle Fusion
- Manage Depot inventory parameters
- Generate actionable insights for supply chain strategy development and implementation
- Forecast demand and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs
- Provide analysis and recommendations to cross-functional teams
- Analyze, approve, and create internal transfer orders to deploy inventory to Depots
- Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment
- Analyze and update optimal Depot inventory levels
- Recommend supplier order adjustments to the Supply Planner
- Update and analyze forecast accuracy reports and recommend forecast changes to the Demand Planner
- Present forecast accuracy results in the S&OP process
- Identify supply-demand gaps and align forecasts and plans with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations
- Identify risks and opportunities within the supply-demand network and recommend adjustments
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years MRP demand planning, supply chain planning, or inventory/order management, or related analyst experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Oracle or similar ERP systems
- Excellent analytical skills, especially in Excel, to aggregate/summarize large amounts of historical data and identify trends or problems
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a high sense of ownership and commitment to performance excellence
- Ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially working with internal customers
- Knowledge of how demand impacts inventory, production, and distribution
- Understanding of how market trends, sales strategies, and external factors impact demand
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
