Job Description

Demand Planning Analyst forecasting Minor Figures’ plant-based beverage sales across North America. Managing Modus forecasts, S&OP reporting, trade spend, and cross-functional planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales, finance and operations teams in demand, sales, trade and revenue forecasting for Minor Figures North America
  • Input, update, monitor and analyze data to increase topline revenue and improve forecast accuracy
  • Engage internal team members, work with external data-management partners, and contact distributors as needed to ensure 100% order fulfillment
  • Maintain and input sales and trade forecasting data in Modus and own system updates and outputs for monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
  • Participate in weekly sales updates to identify revenue gaps and opportunities
  • Lead monthly forecast review meetings with sales leads and identify sales gaps
  • Own the monthly Demand Review process, including reporting preparation, meeting facilitation, documentation of forecast changes, and publication of the Rolling Latest Estimate
  • Build and distribute Retailer Forecast Performance, Customer DC Forecast Performance, Pipeline Review and Rolling LE reports for monthly S&OP
  • Build and distribute sales reports and improve reporting systems and outputs
  • Manage SPINS, Nielsen and other customer and consumption-data portals
  • Update pipeline reporting tools via the CRM platform
  • Own weekly Modus actuals uploads, invalid connection management, forecast snapshots and master data monitoring
  • Compare On-Premise distributor chargebacks against forecast and update systems to improve customer-investment planning accuracy
  • Monitor and track distributor spend and support customer-investment budgets
  • Ensure approved investments are reflected in Modus and the demand plan
  • Maintain promotion, trade-spend and customer-investment forecasting inputs in Modus
  • Incorporate promotional activity, trade spend and customer investment assumptions into the demand plan
  • Meet with the external trade management partner to identify gaps and optimization opportunities
  • Support Sales, Operations and Finance through the monthly S&OP process
  • Administer forecasting workflows, reporting files and forecast governance processes
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams; report to the Senior Planning Manager

Requirements:

  • Residence in states located in Mountain Standard Time or Central Standard Time
  • Experience building bottoms-up forecasts (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with Modus, SAP IBP, Logility, o9, Blue Yonder, or other demand planning software (strongly preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen, preferably in CPG, grocery, or coffee (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with grocery forecasting and/or trade spend (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with UNFI and KeHE (preferred)
  • Experience working with a trade promotion management or trade spend management tool (preferred)
  • Experience navigating and building reports via SPINS and Nielsen (preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of Google Sheets; pivot tables and VLOOKUPS are baseline
  • Self-motivation to complete required work autonomously while proactively optimizing systems and processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues, determine root cause, and drive solutions
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage stakeholders
  • Ability to create ad hoc reporting and demand-planning models
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a recurring planning calendar, meet deadlines consistently, and proactively follow up
  • Flexible availability for extended hours at month-end and fiscal quarter-end, calls across US time zones, and occasional calls with the UK-based team
