Job Description
Italian-speaking Digital Trust and Safety Specialist moderating social media content for Mercier Consultancy Group’s international staffing clients. Protecting users, enforcing policies, and reporting emerging digital threats.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and moderate content posted on social media platforms to ensure compliance with community standards and safety guidelines.
- Monitor incoming user reports to identify potential policy violations, including hate speech, harassment, and harmful content.
- Apply nuanced judgment to sensitive material to protect the integrity of the digital ecosystem and enhance user safety.
- Maintain high accuracy and efficiency standards within a performance-driven social media moderation environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine safety protocols and adapt to evolving trends in digital content regulation.
- Document and report emerging threats to user safety to ensure a secure environment for the platform’s Italian-speaking community.
- Stay updated on local and international legislative changes that impact social media content safety.
Requirements:
- Native or fluent Italian (spoken and written) is strictly required.
- Valid EU passport (mandatory) is required to facilitate relocation.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make objective, policy-based decisions.
- Resilience and emotional maturity, with ability to manage exposure to sensitive content professionally.
- Strong command of English for global team meetings and training sessions.
- Previous experience in content moderation or trust and safety is considered a strong advantage.
