Job Description
SAP innovation director architecting S/4HANA, BTP, and AI solutions for NBCUniversal’s media and entertainment business. Leading technical teams through transformation, integration, and clean-core initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate software and hardware frameworks, systems, and product design functions
- Design underlying architecture for product offerings
- Evaluate design results against technical objectives
- Prepare and present project outcome reports and recommendations
- Manage technical SAP teams through complex system development and deployment
- Deliver solutions involving artificial intelligence, application development, and integration
- Re-engineer, transform, and maintain custom SAP SOH workloads on S/4 and BTP
- Analyze current custom workloads and establish frameworks to migrate objects toward a clean core
- Lead SAP technical vision, apply best practices, and maximize business value
- Simplify complex processes and reduce total cost of ownership
- Evaluate business requirements and architect integrated SAP solutions
- Advise product and business teams on SAP products and tools
- Lead technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development of SAP functionality and integrations
- Guide engineering teams in solution development, configuration, and implementation
- Ensure technical integrity, reuse of common technical elements, and avoidance of duplicated work
- Participate in product roadmap and strategy definition
- Coordinate with technical teams on solution compatibility and roadmaps
- Ensure committed deadlines and successful deliverables
- Mentor, coach, and train engineers and consultants
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline (or foreign degree equivalent)
- 12 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation focused on SAP integration/development
- Experience consulting on more than eight SAP ECC implementation or S/4 HANA implementation projects
- 12 years of experience with various SAP modules and integration development on large-scale SAP ECC and SAP S/4 transformations
- 12 years of SAP technical and functional experience with SAP products and solution offerings
- 10 years of deep technical experience in SAP ECC application engineering using ABAP-based frameworks, including BADI, ALE IDOC, Smartforms, and ALV
- 10 years of business process re-engineering or process improvement experience with broad-based information systems
- 8 years of experience leveraging released BAPIs or APIs, including creating wrappers where standard BAPIs are unavailable
- 8 years of experience with interfaces, Web Services, Java connectors, and REST APIs communicating with non-SAP applications
- 8 years of experience with SAP ECC to S/4 HANA transformation projects
- 7 years of deep technical experience in SAP SOH and/or S/4 HANA application engineering using the S/4 HANA extensibility model
- 7 years of experience with in-app extensions, key-user and in-app frameworks, and the RAP model
- 7 years of experience with side-by-side extensions in BTP using the CAP model
- 5 years of experience developing SAP Fiori applications
- 4 years of experience with Clean Core principles for S/4 HANA
- 4 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud applications using SAP BTP, BAS, SAP Build, Workzone, and Integration Suite
- Up to 10% domestic travel required
