Job Description
Electrical commissioning engineer leading LV/MV/DC system testing and start-up for INP Schweiz’s global power-plant projects. Troubleshooting installations and supporting engineering corrections across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Lead commissioning of electrical power systems covering LV, MV, and DC
- Take responsibility for electrical testing and start-up of batteries, DC/AC inverters, DC/DC converters, MV switchgear and protection, and LV switchgear
- Inspect and advise on electrical power systems installation according to manufacturers’ instructions
- Complete commissioning procedures according to specifications and instructions
- Troubleshoot LV/MV/DC systems
- Collaborate and provide feedback on corrective measures for engineering and design
Requirements:
- Experience in cold and hot commissioning of large-scale power plants and/or large industrial plants
- Interest in expanding commissioning and service expertise on various products and in different industries
- Independent work style
- Broad overall electrical power systems expertise
- Experience in commissioning electrical protection systems is a plus
- Ability to communicate in English
- Valid work permit in Europe
