Job Description
Electrical Engineer designing power distribution and controls systems for industrial blasting and coating facilities. Collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design 480VAC power distribution systems, heavy-load feeders, and large-facility electrical layouts
- Specify and design electrical and controls systems for industrial blasting and coating facilities
- Produce schematics, panel layouts, and detailed electrical documentation in AutoCAD
- Ensure all designs meet NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other compliance requirements
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and SMEs to integrate electrical systems into overall facility design
- Support procurement and vendors to ensure components meet standards and specifications
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at project sites
Requirements:
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or large-facility projects
- Strong background in heavy power design (main feeders, distribution systems, and high-load equipment)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore a plus
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and related codes
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
