Job Description
Endpoint Engineer supporting Falconwood’s DoD IT consulting and programmatic services for Navy enterprise workstations. Managing Azure, MECM, M365, hardware, software, and cybersecurity requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop hardware and software requirements for enterprise solutions
- Provide insight and technical expertise to resolve technical issues
- Contribute to development of information assurance policies
- Provide SME-level support to engineering projects
- Participate in problem resolution efforts for lifecycle systems management projects
- Operate within strict time constraints in a dynamic, high-level government environment
- Assist engineers and analysts with evaluating and preparing recommendations for process and project improvements, system optimization, development, and acquisition efforts
- Coordinate with Program Managers and Government Officials on project status, documentation, and delivery
- Conduct independent data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Interact frequently with senior managers and Navy leadership while exercising discretion and tact
- Support the Endpoint Lead Engineer and team with oversight and technical expertise for a Department of the Navy enterprise network system
- Provide the Navy customer with enterprise workstation and peripheral expertise
Requirements:
- Experience with Government Cloud solutions and understanding of Security Impact Levels
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud; Azure Gov Cloud preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and associated tools and services
- Experience with M365 implementation and maintenance
- Extensive experience with end-user hardware and software, including mobility and peripherals
- Windows 10/11 OS training or certification, or comparable certification to obtain an administrative account on the client network within 45 days of hire
- Current security certification meeting DoD 8570 requirements at IAT Level II
- Active US Government SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years of related experience, or high school diploma with 6 or more years of related experience
- Ability to operate within strict time constraints in a dynamic, high-level government environment
- Ability to interact with senior managers and Navy leadership with discretion and tact
