Job Description
Senior Engineer providing support for SAP Variant Configuration, creating SAP Bills of Material and ensuring data integrity for clean energy solutions at Westinghouse.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the SAP Variant Configuration (VC) module and processes
- Create SAP Bills of Material to support planning, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering functions
- Support system upgrades and ensure SAP master data integrity, quality, compliance, and consistency
- Process engineering change notices in the SAP BoM database
- Originate supporting documentation to meet internal and external customer requirements
- Verify the work of peers and provide technical guidance, training, and direction to others
- Lead on project teams, including Master Data Management teams
- Manage SAP Material Master data activities, such as routine maintenance and data cleansing efforts
- Implement master data setup, validations, and maintenance following business procedures, processes, and work instructions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 3+ years of experience
- SAP experience required
- Helpful: SAP Variant configuration (VC module) experience
- Experience creating SAP BoM models
- Knowledge of overall design of Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR)
- Ability to interpret, and document complex business processes
- Experience with Power BI
