Job Description
Enrollment Representative guiding prospective students into Cengage’s continuing education and career training programs. Qualifying leads, counseling learners, and driving enrollment revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize qualified leads from the website, referrals, live chat, and telephone
- Drive sales revenue for Ed2go continuing education and career training programs
- Match prospective students with suitable programs
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience from first contact through initial enrollment
- Counsel prospective students about educational and career objectives
- Guide students through the enrollment process
- Implement strategies to meet enrollment objectives
- Use enrollment processes, infrastructure, CRM systems, and enrollment tools to manage student information and workflows
- Perform basic technical troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate virtually using email, video conferencing, and instant messaging tools
Requirements:
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Ability to navigate common software applications and systems
- Basic troubleshooting skills for connectivity problems, login errors, or navigation challenges
- Ability to use web-based platforms, CRM systems, and enrollment tools
- Familiarity with email platforms, video conferencing tools, and instant messaging applications
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to system updates
- Ability to ask probing questions and overcome objections
- Reliable WiFi connection (not a hotspot)
- Proven success in a customer-facing role (preferred)
- Some college coursework or degree (preferred)
- Prior experience in Student Admissions/Enrollment (preferred)
