Job Description
SAPRO hiring remote audit professionals for insurance and asset wealth management client engagements. Delivering complex audit work, leading teams, and managing budgets across Senior, SIC, and Manager levels.
Responsibilities:
- Support a client engagement starting January 2027, with onboarding potentially starting November 2026
- Deliver timely, high-quality audit work covering complex sections
- Facilitate fieldwork and coordinate deliverables from multiple team members
- Guide, educate, and redirect associates, interns, and other team members
- Address client concerns and escalate issues
- Coordinate information flow between clients and engagement teams
- Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable conditions letters
- Monitor productivity, budgets, and work-plan schedules
- Plan, budget, and coordinate client deliverables
- Review work to ensure quality and team skill development
- Manage larger, more complex engagement teams and support client satisfaction and team morale
- Communicate with all levels at the firm and client
Requirements:
- Insurance or Asset Wealth Management industry experience (non-negotiable)
- Big 4 firm experience (essential)
- ITC/Board 1 Pass (Senior and SIC; non-negotiable)
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CPA (Senior and SIC)
- Fully qualified CA(SA), CA(Z), ACA, ACCA, or CPA (Manager)
- Minimum 4 years of public accounting audit experience for Senior
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting audit experience for SIC
- Minimum 6 years of public accounting audit experience for Manager
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams and managing audits for SIC and Manager
- Experience reviewing and signing off on work papers
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and PCAOB standards
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge relevant to Financial Services
- Access to a sustainable fibre internet connection with at least 50 Mbps upload and download speeds and latency of no more than 30 ms
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
