Job Description
Vulnerability researcher developing proof-of-concept exploits for Interrupt Labs’ world-leading security research team. Investigating vulnerabilities across Android, iOS, browsers, hypervisors, and embedded systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct vulnerability research using a range of approaches and techniques
- Develop proof-of-concept exploits for vulnerabilities found
- Bypass modern exploit mitigations
- Focus on a preferred target set within an established platform team, including Android, iOS, Browsers, Hypervisors, or Embedded Systems
- Reason through complex topics to choose approaches, identify impactful vulnerabilities, analyze root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts
- Share knowledge and findings with the wider VRED team
- Participate in and run workshops and other team activities
- Collaborate both independently and with the team
Requirements:
- Experience in one or more of vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development
- Ability to reason through complex topics, choose an approach, find impactful vulnerabilities, analyze root causes, and develop proof-of-concepts
- Interest and passion for learning new things, taking things apart, and tackling new problems and challenges
- Ability to work both independently and highly collaboratively
- Must be a permanent resident and currently based in the USA
- No formal education or certifications required
