Job Description
Altra Field Service Representative growing the running brand across Michigan. Building retailer partnerships, community activations, product education, and territory performance.
Responsibilities:
- Activate the Altra brand across the territory through authentic connections, thoughtful activations, and hands-on support
- Build relationships with retailers through in-person visits, demos, and sales floor support
- Deliver product education to retail staff and consumers
- Create excitement through local partnerships, run clubs, events, and community engagement
- Execute merchandising and promotional activations
- Represent Altra at local and select national races, events, and expos
- Partner with Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams on go-to-market plans
- Share product feedback, consumer behavior, and market trend insights
- Maintain field reporting and manage field assets, travel, and expenses
- Grow relationships and brand presence in the territory
- Support retail advocacy, community awareness, product trial, loyalty, territory performance, and service-plan execution
- Learn the Altra product line, retailer and community activation best practices, and Field Service systems and tools
Requirements:
- 1+ year of specialty retail experience (run or outdoor preferred)
- 2+ years in marketing, sales, or a customer-facing field role
- Experience fitting and selling technical footwear
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while staying connected to a broader team
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with a passion for the running and outdoor community
- Familiarity with Altra products is a plus
