Job Description

Altra Field Service Representative executing retail support, product education, and community activations. Driving footwear brand growth across Alabama and Mississippi through territory partnerships and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute seasonal go-to-market and service strategies across Alabama and Mississippi
  • Drive brand growth, awareness, and sell-through through retail support, community engagement, and field activations
  • Support retail partners through in-person store visits, product demos, and sales floor engagement
  • Deliver product presentations to educate and motivate retail staff and consumers
  • Implement merchandising and promotional activations
  • Represent Altra at local and select national events, races, and expos
  • Support consumer trial and education through community activations
  • Build long-term relationships with retail and community partners
  • Partner with Sales Representatives to develop and execute territory service plans
  • Collaborate with Field Service teammates on education initiatives and activations
  • Gather and share insights on product performance, competitor activity, and industry trends
  • Complete accurate activity reporting using designated tools such as Repsly
  • Maintain field assets and demo footwear
  • Manage travel, expenses, promotional materials, and product seeding
  • Meet deadlines for projects, reports, and action items
  • Report to the Regional Field Service Manager

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of specialty retail experience; run or outdoor specialty preferred
  • 2+ years of marketing, sales, or field service experience
  • Familiarity with the Altra product line
  • Experience fitting and selling technical footwear
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to take initiative
  • Reliable transportation
  • Frequent travel within the assigned territory
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
