Job Description

Finance Analytics Engineer handling finance-focused analytics solutions by integrating data from various sources. Collaborating with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights and support business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Extract, transform, and integrate financial and operational data from multiple sources
  • Deliver end-to-end analytics and reporting solutions, including KPI definition, backend data preparation, and visualization dashboards
  • Design, build, and maintain automated and reusable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support analytical use cases
  • Use data preparation and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx) to streamline transformations
  • Work with enterprise data platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Snowflake
  • Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into data solutions
  • Apply financial and business context to ensure analytics outputs are accurate, consistent, and meaningful
  • Communicate insights, trends, and drivers clearly through dashboards and stakeholder discussions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data-focused roles
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Alteryx, Python, or similar tools
  • Comfortable working across data engineering and analytics use cases, with exposure to BI
  • Familiarity with financial data concepts (e.g., trial balances, P&L, revenue data) and the ability to translate them into analytical solutions
  • Experience supporting finance, accounting, or business teams is strongly preferred
  • Ability to clearly explain insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Passion for developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Thrives in an ever-changing, dynamic work environment
  • Comfortable with identifying problems and instinctively looking for solutions
