Job Description

Marketing Analytics Engineer responsible for building and maintaining marketing data platforms at an organization. Enabling data-driven decisions through accurate tracking and reporting of marketing data.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and own marketing data platform, ensuring accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting across all marketing and revenue channels
  • Collect data and perform data modeling in BigQuery and dashboarding in Looker Studio
  • Create and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio, ensuring data is accurate, actionable, and trusted by stakeholders
  • Own end-to-end marketing tracking and attribution using GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Design and maintain accurate attribution across marketing channels (Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, email, web platform)
  • Build and maintain a centralized marketing data warehouse in BigQuery, integrating data from GA4, HubSpot, and other sources
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based data models to represent user journeys, funnel stages, and campaign performance
  • Configure and maintain HubSpot CRM, including lifecycle stages, properties, and pipelines
  • Build and maintain end-to-end funnel reporting
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies across systems, ensuring consistency
  • Support marketing campaign execution with proper tracking and performance monitoring
  • Create and maintain tracking documentation, including event maps, UTM rules, and dashboard definitions
  • Establish QA processes and launch checklists to ensure campaigns are tracked and reported.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations on marketing performance, highlighting optimization opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Analytics Engineering, RevOps, or MarTech, Data engineering roles
  • Experience working with BigQuery (or similar data warehouse) and writing SQL for data modeling and analysis
  • Must have experience building dashboards in Looker Studio or similar BI tools
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub, including lifecycle stages, segmentation, and reporting
  • Solid understanding of marketing funnels, attribution, and performance metrics (CPA, CAC, conversion rates)
  • Strong hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM), including event tracking and debugging
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and engineering teams.
