Job Description

Financial data analyst managing investment and portfolio data operations for a wealth technology platform. Reconciling holdings, improving aggregation systems, and supporting stakeholders across eligible Southeast Asian markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data extraction and aggregation of complex investment portfolio data using proprietary aggregation software
  • Investigate and resolve aggregated data inconsistencies and errors across balances
  • Reconcile trading history and end-of-day holdings data, identify account discrepancies, and find potential solutions
  • Review reconciliation output and escalate aging exceptions in a timely manner
  • Contribute to enhancements of internal systems for more efficient, accurate, and timely data aggregation
  • Build tools and processes to improve and scale data reconciliation
  • Collaborate with the product team on new features, including cost and process impacts
  • Ensure security and privacy of sensitive data in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Serve as an escalation point for Sales, Client Success, and Product teams on client data-related questions
  • Liaise with custodian representatives to address gaps in financial data sources
  • Provide training and support to staff on data-related processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL is a bonus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of financial instruments across asset classes
  • Willingness to work with large data sets
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to workflow improvements
  • Experience with Tableau, Trifacta, or other data wrangling tools is highly preferred
