Job Description
Founding Engineer building AI-driven clinical workflows and patient data infrastructure for VIM Medicine. Shaping engineering culture and technology for proactive primary care.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with physicians and the care team to understand workflows
- Design and build day-to-day clinical tools
- Automate toil that takes time away from serving patients
- Prototype AI-driven care workflows
- Develop a patient experience the company fully controls
- Design a data platform maintaining a complete, living picture of each patient
- Enable humans and AI to work together safely and efficiently
- Establish a rigorous, collaborative engineering culture
- Help build the engineering team
- Work with the CEO to shape the roadmap for technology-enabled healthcare
Requirements:
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- At least one stretch at an early-stage company as one of the first builders
- Track record of using AI effectively in your own work
- Experience with the challenges of running agent-driven systems in production
- Full-stack skillset
- Strong data instincts, including modeling messy real-world data
- Ability to design durable schemas
- Ability to build trustworthy pipelines for health records
- Bonus: experience with healthcare data, including EHR integrations, FHIR, claims, or wearables
- Strong judgment and shipping focus
