Job Description

Full-stack PHP Developer at Syndicode contributing to the development of modern web applications. Working across back-end and front-end components in a fully remote setup.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of the technical side of the project
  • Developing new features in the project and supporting the existing ones
  • Creating common UI components
  • Providing technical and functional guidance in designing, maintaining, building, integrating, and testing components according to design specifications
  • Contributing to technical design for features and solution components in their area of expertise
  • Participating in developing and updating the comprehensive technical documentation
  • Being accountable for the technological development decisions within the team
  • Making sure the engineering practices and corporate standards are being followed
  • Providing excellent customer service to drive the client's willingness to have a long-term collaboration with the company.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience with PHP 7+ versions
  • Proficiency in English (at least upper-intermediate level)
  • Understanding of OOP
  • Advanced architecture understanding both on a theoretical and practical level
  • Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID, DRY, KISS principles
  • Experience with the Laravel framework
  • Experience with Laravel Nova and Laravel Horizon
  • Experience with databases PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis
  • Experience with integrations of external API to the project
  • Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
  • Experience with Firebase
  • Experience with Docker and containerization (Laravel Sail, Nginx, Supervisor)
  • Experience with Next.js and React + Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with Stripe or similar payment gateway integrations (nice to have)
  • Experience with SendGrid or similar email delivery services (nice to have)
  • Experience with OneSignal or similar push notification platforms (nice to have).
