Job Description
Full-stack PHP Developer at Syndicode contributing to the development of modern web applications. Working across back-end and front-end components in a fully remote setup.
Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of the technical side of the project
- Developing new features in the project and supporting the existing ones
- Creating common UI components
- Providing technical and functional guidance in designing, maintaining, building, integrating, and testing components according to design specifications
- Contributing to technical design for features and solution components in their area of expertise
- Participating in developing and updating the comprehensive technical documentation
- Being accountable for the technological development decisions within the team
- Making sure the engineering practices and corporate standards are being followed
- Providing excellent customer service to drive the client's willingness to have a long-term collaboration with the company.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial experience with PHP 7+ versions
- Proficiency in English (at least upper-intermediate level)
- Understanding of OOP
- Advanced architecture understanding both on a theoretical and practical level
- Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID, DRY, KISS principles
- Experience with the Laravel framework
- Experience with Laravel Nova and Laravel Horizon
- Experience with databases PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis
- Experience with integrations of external API to the project
- Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
- Experience with Firebase
- Experience with Docker and containerization (Laravel Sail, Nginx, Supervisor)
- Experience with Next.js and React + Tailwind CSS
- Experience with Stripe or similar payment gateway integrations (nice to have)
- Experience with SendGrid or similar email delivery services (nice to have)
- Experience with OneSignal or similar push notification platforms (nice to have).
