Job Description
Full Stack Engineer developing across frontend and backend components for a fast-paced startup. Requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Next.js/React proficiency along with Java backend knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Translate Figma designs and wireframes into responsive, accessible frontends using Next.js/React
- Own frontend UI/UX and deliver smooth, high-performance user experiences
- Integrate frontend components with REST APIs and microservices
- Design and implement robust backend APIs using Java (Quarkus)
- Apply SOLID, DRY, hexagonal architecture, and microservice design principles
- Contribute to backend modules as needed
- Optimize performance, security, and scalability across the stack
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with unit and integration tests
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Next.js/React
- Working knowledge of Java backend development (Quarkus)
- Solid understanding of REST API design and integration
- Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Experience with data migration, database scaling, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2)
- Experience working with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Comfortable operating in a startup environment with changing priorities
- Knowledge of caching and load balancing (e.g. Redis, CDN, ALB)
- Exposure to AWS services is a plus
