Job Description

Software Engineer developing HealthTech solutions focusing on full-stack development in agile teams at PLANFOX. Collaborating on robust software architectures for the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

  • You work with the team on the full-stack development of our applications based on React, Node.js and PostgreSQL
  • You are responsible for implementation in a codebase built entirely on TypeScript
  • As a member of a small, agile team without rigid roles, you actively shape our product landscape — from the initial idea to successful delivery
  • You advance the digitalization of healthcare with user-friendly, practical software
  • You develop robust and secure software architectures that meet the highest requirements for data protection and information security when handling sensitive health data
  • You work in a German-speaking, distributed team

Requirements:

  • You have significant development experience in agile teams and confidently contribute it to our shared product development
  • You enjoy diving deep into new technologies and complex technical challenges
  • You take pleasure in type-safe programming in a functional style
  • You have knowledge of FHIR or other health-tech interfaces and can apply this knowledge effectively
  • You think beyond code and consider aspects such as security, interface design, infrastructure and monitoring as integral parts of your work
  • You are solution- and results-oriented while keeping the bigger picture in mind
  • You are comfortable working in a fully remote environment and work independently and reliably

Benefits:

  • Scope for initiative and responsibility to help shape the further development of PLANFOX
  • A motivated and welcoming team that supports you and grows with you
  • Flexible working arrangements through a transparent flexitime model, giving you space for a healthy work–life balance
  • An open, appreciative start-up culture with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making processes
  • A meaningful role with tangible impact, where you actively help shape the digitalization of the healthcare system
  • 30 days of vacation, a personal training budget and additional benefits that give you space for growth and recovery
