Job Description
GenAI Engineer designing and implementing Generative AI models at Global Payments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI solutions in the payments technology landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain Generative AI models and workflows
- Integrate Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
- Fine-tune and evaluate foundation models
- Build and optimize AI agents
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver AI solutions
- Implement best practices for model deployment and monitoring
- Document processes, models, and configurations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on Generative AI
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
- Strong understanding of Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, Transformer architectures)
- Familiarity with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
- Experience with agentic AI concepts
- Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock + Sagemaker, and Snowflake Cortex
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Experience with vector databases (eg. Pinecone, MongoDB Atlas)
