Job Description
Geospatial Architecture Specialist providing GIS, geospatial programming, and analytical support for Bureau of Indian Affairs. Collaborating with various stakeholders to manage geospatial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Enterprise GIS, geospatial programming, and analytical support services to support the mission of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA)
- Work under the direction of the Division Chief and Branch Chiefs
- Collaborate with government GIS specialists, program analysts, and other stakeholders
- Support enterprise GIS operations, data management, automation, dashboards, and business analytics utilizing various tools
Requirements:
- Experience with ESRI Enterprise GIS environments
- Proficiency in geospatial data management, analysis, and cartography
- Experience with Python and GIS automation; scripting knowledge preferred
- Understanding of federal geospatial standards (FGDC, NSDI, DOI)
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, cloud environments, and database management
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
