Job Description

GIS Analyst creating, analyzing, and validating geospatial data for facilities, infrastructure, and real property. Producing maps, dashboards, and quality-controlled GIS products.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, maintain, and analyze GIS datasets
  • Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, data conversion, and mapping
  • Maintain geodatabases, feature classes, attributes, and metadata
  • Perform quality checks and correct spatial or attribute data issues
  • Develop maps, reports, dashboards, and other geospatial products
  • Assist with GIS data migration, integration, and standardization
  • Document data sources, processes, and quality review results
  • Work with analysts, planners, technical staff, and client stakeholders to support project needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional experience working with GIS data and applications
  • Experience with GIS editing, mapping, spatial analysis, and data quality review
  • Working knowledge of geodatabases, coordinate systems, projections, and metadata
  • Experience using Esri ArcGIS applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet applicable client access requirements
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, or similar Esri technologies
  • Experience supporting facilities, infrastructure, real property, or asset management programs
  • Familiarity with GIS data standards and quality assurance practices
  • Experience with geoprocessing models, scripting, or workflow automation
  • Experience working in a government or large enterprise GIS environment
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to type and read from a computer screen
  • Sufficient mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling
  • Ability to walk moderate to long distances when required
  • Possible ability to lift up to 25 lbs
