Job Description
Senior geospatial AI trainer evaluating outputs and designing metrics for Meridial’s crisis-response reasoning agent. Applying GIS expertise to improve real-time global decision-making systems.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate AI-generated geospatial outputs
- Identify analytical weaknesses in AI-generated outputs
- Design metrics and test cases to advance model understanding and predictive accuracy
- Review geospatial scenarios
- Validate model outputs
- Define and refine reasoning frameworks
- Collaborate with the team to improve data-driven evaluations
- Help shape development and evaluation of a geospatial reasoning agent focused on crisis response
Requirements:
- Experienced geospatial professional
- Deep experience in geospatial analysis, crisis response, or related domains such as damage assessment, agriculture, site selection, supply chain optimization, or forecasting
- Professional experience in geospatial analysis, GIS systems, or spatial modeling
- Strong reasoning and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex spatial relationships clearly
- Proficiency with geospatial tools and libraries such as QGIS, ArcGIS, GDAL, and PostGIS is preferred
- Secure computer and high-speed internet connection
- Company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply to contractors
Benefits:
- $24 per hour pay rate, with exact rate determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location
