Job Description
Independent contractor assembling furniture, grills, and patio products in Chicago customers' homes for AIT Worldwide Logistics. Managing installations, customer service, app reporting, and quality standards with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble furniture, grills, patio sets, and other home improvement products in customers' homes
- Follow manufacturer instructions and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service
- Report job completion through a smartphone app
- Maintain required insurances
Requirements:
- Assembly, handyman, installation, or home improvement experience is a plus
- Own tools required for assembly work
- Must have reliable transportation with required insurance coverage
- Smartphone with internet access
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Professional appearance and customer service skills
