Job Description
STEM Teacher delivering personalized online English lessons to children ages 5–12 through Nao Now’s structured curriculum. Integrating STEM concepts while building confident English communication.
Responsibilities:
- Teach 25-minute, one-on-one online English lessons to children ages 5–12
- Deliver engaging lessons using Nao Now's structured curriculum
- Incorporate age-appropriate STEM concepts and real-world examples into classroom discussions when appropriate
- Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and confident English communication
- Create a fun, supportive, and interactive learning environment
- Provide thoughtful lesson feedback after each class
- Maintain a professional, energetic, and encouraging on-camera presence
- Commit to a consistent weekly teaching schedule
Requirements:
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor's degree or proof of current enrollment in a bachelor's program
- Academic background in one or more of: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, STEM/STEAM Education, or other related STEM disciplines
- Experience working with children ages 5–12
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Friendly, engaging, and energetic teaching style
- Reliable wired internet connection with minimum 60 Mbps
- Quiet, professional teaching environment
- Headset, noise-cancelling preferred
- Minimum 10 teaching hours per week
- Availability Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM–10:00 PM KST
- Minimum 3-month commitment
- Consistent weekly availability
- Computer less than five years old recommended
- Professional, distraction-free workspace
