Job Description
Information Security Consultant advising German cloud, AI, and data-center companies on ISMS and compliance. Delivering audit-ready policies, gap analyses, and practical security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to plan, implement, and operate ISMS and compliance frameworks
- Conduct gap analyses and define and prioritize remediation measures
- Create and align policies, processes, role models, Statements of Applicability (SoA), and evidence
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical operating models
- Engage regularly with technical, organizational, and management stakeholders
- Support clients in establishing, operating, and continuously improving modern ISMS structures
- Analyze business models and technical environments to develop practical, audit-ready solutions
Requirements:
- Experience in information security, ISMS, GRC, IT projects, or process management
- Enjoy providing client-focused consulting and developing solutions collaboratively
- Ability to explain complex security topics clearly and understandably
- Experience with ISO/IEC 27001, or strong motivation to quickly develop expertise in this area
- Knowledge of SOC 2, C5, NIS2, or the GDPR is an advantage
- Affinity for tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365/SharePoint
- Excellent German and English language skills
