Job Description

Insurance Professionals developing AI models in finance and insurance sectors. Seeking senior analysts and portfolio managers for research roles to push limits of AI reasoning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and iterate realistic prompts that you would ask a junior role to test the relevance and quality of AI-generated insights.
  • Systematically evaluate divergence between professional insurance judgment and AI outputs across investments, underwriting, and actuarial contexts.
  • Translate how insurance professionals evaluate risk, price policies, manage general account portfolios, and model liabilities into problems that push the limits of AI reasoning.
  • Build and validate real-world underwriting cases, actuarial analyses and investment frameworks used to evaluate frontier AI systems.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience at a major P&C or Life insurance carrier
  • Associate or VP level in one of the following functions:
  • Investments: Managing fixed income or multi-asset portfolios within an insurance general account; familiarity with ALM, duration matching, and regulatory capital constraints (RBC/Solvency II)
  • Underwriting: Risk selection, pricing, and loss modeling across commercial lines, specialty, or personal lines
  • Actuarial: FSA/FCAS or near-credentialed; experience in reserving, pricing, or capital modeling
  • Ability to articulate insurance-specific analytical judgment clearly and precisely in writing
  • Genuine intellectual curiosity about the application of AI in the insurance industry.

Benefits:

  • Hands-on exposure to how AI is reshaping insurance workflows, from underwriting and pricing to portfolio management, reserving, and capital modeling.
  • You will be among the first insurance professionals to work directly on how frontier AI models reason about carrier operations, risk selection, and insurance finance.
