Job Description
Internship in translation in the publishing industry at indayi edition. Involves translating manuscripts and engaging in social media marketing tasks.
Responsibilities:
- You will translate selected manuscripts.
- You will write exposés and back-cover copy and support the team with title selection.
- You will get to know the exciting world of social media marketing, creating posts for Facebook, blog entries and short YouTube videos — in your language.
Requirements:
- You are hands-on, eager to learn, highly motivated, work independently and carefully, and enjoy working with languages.
- You are generally upbeat, committed, creative and willing to think outside the mainstream.
- You have strong language skills (expression, grammar and spelling) both written and spoken in German and in your language.
- You are proficient with MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Ideally, you are currently studying and have some initial translation experience.
- You have a passion for translating, writing and producing texts.
