Job Description
Interview Engineer facilitating technical interviews and objective coding evaluations through Karat’s platform. Contract freelancer partnering with Karat to improve hiring content, processes, and products.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate technical interviews through Karat's platform
- Create an enjoyable candidate experience while evaluating fundamental coding skills and technical knowledge
- Provide input on candidate performance, coding style, communication skills, knowledge question answers, and coding approach
- Collaborate with Karat to test content, processes, and products
- Create inclusive hiring processes by mitigating bias, improving hiring signals, and completing objective evaluations
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) with a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Reliable access to a working webcam, microphone, and a stable Internet connection
- Resumes must be submitted in English
- Experience conducting technical interviews is preferred (e.g., data structures, algorithms)
