Job Description
Analista Linux sustentando ambientes corporativos e de clientes da Unifique, provedora brasileira de telecomunicações. Corrigindo vulnerabilidades, aplicando patches e tratando incidentes em infraestrutura crítica.
Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance and operation of corporate Linux environments and customer environments.
- Remediate security vulnerabilities following internal guidelines and best practices.
- Apply patches and security updates to Linux operating systems and services.
- Analyze, handle and track incidents, problems and security/infrastructure alerts.
- Collaborate with Information Security, Monitoring and other teams to mitigate risks and resolve incidents.
- Administer services and applications running on Linux servers.
- Perform operational routines and preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Log, document and communicate activities, maintaining history and traceability.
- Interact with customers, internal teams and vendors to resolve technical requests.
- Engage support teams according to defined processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations when required.
- Work alongside the monitoring and customer support teams.
- Monitor consoles and respond to alert events.
- Modify hardware resources on virtual servers.
- Notify the team of actions performed.
- Participate in the team communication group.
- Answer telephone calls.
Requirements:
- Experience administering corporate Linux environments.
- Experience working in critical and high-availability environments.
- Experience in vulnerability remediation, hardening and patch management.
- Experience in troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Experience providing N2 or N3 technical support.
- Administration of Linux distributions, preferably RHEL, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, Oracle Linux or CentOS.
- Administration of Apache, NGINX, SSH, Samba, NFS and BIND (DNS).
- Knowledge of package management YUM/DNF/APT and patch management.
- Knowledge of systemd and cron.
- Administration of users, groups, permissions, ACLs and Linux file systems.
- Knowledge of LVM, disk mounting and storage management.
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- Knowledge of Zabbix or similar monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash).
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls and SSH.
- Knowledge of Linux server hardening and security best practices.
- Vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys or Nessus are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related fields.
- Courses in Linux, Information Security, Shell Scripting or Virtualization are a plus.
- Certifications such as RHCSA, LPIC-1/LPIC-2, LFCS and ITIL Foundation are desirable; RHCE and security certifications are differentiators.
