Job Description
Java Developer creating software solutions for SEITENBAU’s German clients. Implementing user stories, automated tests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines in agile Scrum teams.
Responsibilities:
- Put yourself in clients' domain challenges and develop innovative solutions
- Design and implement user stories with teammates in Java
- Develop automated tests to ensure code quality
- Conduct code reviews within the team
- Work in pair programming to improve quality and share knowledge
- Use and optimize the established Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
Requirements:
- Completed degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong experience developing applications with Java using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot and tools like Jenkins and Git
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman in a cloud environment is desirable
- Basic understanding of containerization and an interest in DevOps
- Interest in applying AI tools in software development and the ability to integrate them purposefully and critically into day-to-day development
- Enthusiasm for agile ways of working and motivation to continuously engage with new technologies and trends
- Very good German language skills (at least C1)
