Job Description
Data Engineer Jr at Keyrus analyzing and documenting data requirements while modeling data schema. Implementing data ingestion pipelines and ensuring data quality using SQL, Python, and Azure tools.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document data requirements, identifying data sources, structure and relationships between data.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date data catalog, describing metadata and documentation for each dataset.
- Data Modeling: design and implement data models, defining schemas, relationships and constraints to meet business needs.
- Implement data ingestion pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Deploy data pipelines and implement monitoring to ensure the performance and reliability of the processes.
- Develop and implement mechanisms to ensure data quality, performing validations, detecting errors and implementing corrective measures.
- Perform complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data, answer business questions and generate insights.
Requirements:
- Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with data ingestion tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data engineering best practices.
- Requirements analysis skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Fluent English required.
