Job Description
QA Automation Engineer testing web, API, and mobile security software for Zimperium. Maintaining automation frameworks and validating secure software releases with Java, Selenium, APIs, and SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts and frameworks
- Execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications
- Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track defects in Jira
- Run regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and analyze results
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test documentation
- Assist with integrating automated tests into TestOps
- Communicate testing progress and blockers to team members
- Learn and adopt new testing tools and methodologies
- Perform vulnerability assessments and Mobile Threat Defense application and SDK testing
- Work with developers to support high-quality, secure software releases
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing and automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver
- Basic knowledge of API testing, such as REST Assured or Postman
- Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control
- Experience with automation testing, UI/API automation framework maintenance, and API automation tools
- TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest experience
- Understanding of data-driven testing concepts
- Page Object Model (POM) implementation
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Mandatory skills: Selenium WebDriver, Java, API Testing, SQL, Git, Jira, and Agile Methodology
