Job Description
QA Engineer automating Python and Playwright tests for CodiLime’s SD-WAN and networking solutions. Validating network hardware, environments, and client-facing software projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test automation using Python
- Develop UI test automation using Playwright
- Contribute to Python-based test framework functionalities
- Design and automate new environment configurations to extend existing testbed capabilities
- Work with client architects to ensure validation methods meet expectations
- Maintain project documentation in Confluence
- Collaborate as part of a team of developers, QA automation, and DevOps engineers
- Work with client-supplied hardware and tools
- Participate in Agile projects using Kanban or Scrum where possible
Requirements:
- Python programming skills and experience with Python test frameworks such as PyTest or PyATS
- Hands-on expertise and practical understanding of UI automation, ideally with Playwright
- Practical use of AI-powered tools for test automation development, test design, code review, and troubleshooting
- Experience with SD-WAN
- Advanced computer networking knowledge, including switching and routing at Cisco CCNA level
- Hands-on expertise with BGP, iBGP, eBGP, ECMP, link aggregation, VXLAN, GRE, and VPNs
- Experience with Linux and Git
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
- English at B2 level minimum, preferably C1 or C2
- Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge preferred
- Experience configuring routers, switches, and NICs preferred
- Experience with IXIA and/or Spirent traffic generators preferred
- Knowledge of OVS, GoBGP, FRRouting, and other network virtualization tools preferred
- Understanding of containers, virtual machines, orchestrators, and virtual networks, especially Docker, KVM, OpenStack, and Kubernetes preferred
