Job Description
Quality Assurance Engineer Jr garantindo a qualidade de aplicações backend e dispositivos POS. Atuando em testes automatizados, CI/CD e observabilidade para a empresa brasileira de pagamentos Stone.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing and test automation for backend applications and POS devices
- Execute acceptance, integration, and contract testing
- Use performance testing tools such as JMeter and Locust
- Work with CI/CD and build, deployment, and testing pipelines
- Use mocks to validate APIs
- Apply knowledge of databases, version control, and testing techniques
- Manage activities using Jira, Trello, and Xray
- Monitor systems and analyze logs and metrics, with a focus on observability and system health
- Propose improvements to processes and quality solutions
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with functional testing and test automation for backend applications and POS devices
- Knowledge of acceptance, integration, and contract testing, such as PactFlow
- Familiarity with performance testing tools, including JMeter and Locust
- Experience with CI/CD and build, deployment, and testing pipelines
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to propose improvements
- Experience using mocks for API validation
- Knowledge of databases, particularly SQL Server, and version control using Git
- Understanding of programming logic and various testing techniques
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Trello, and test management tools such as Xray
- Knowledge of observability, with a focus on monitoring and analyzing logs and metrics to ensure system health, such as DataDog and Splunk
- Preferred: Experience with Kotlin and/or Robot Framework
