Job Description
Interpreter enabling communication between Khmer and English speakers for emergencies and other situations. Ensuring understanding and proper message delivery for both parties involved.
Responsibilities:
- As an interpreter, your major responsibility is to enable communication between persons speaking different languages.
- In your example of a live 911 call, your primary task would be to properly translate the dialogue between the caller (native language)and the emergency operator (English).
- Your role is to deliver the message in the caller's preferred language and ensure that both parties understand each other.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English language (Read, Speak and Write)
- Fluent in Khmer language (Read, Speak and Write)
- Entry Level, No qualification needed, only good language speaking skill
- Must be willing to work rotating shift for 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client within 24 hours (Night Shift)
- Own a mobile phone with IOS 15 and above or Android 12 and above
- Own a laptop
- Entitled to 2 days off in a week (rotates any day)
- Willing to work on public holiday (24/7 operation)
