Job Description
Lead Cloud Software Developer at GDIT shaping teams in mission-critical government projects. Transforming technology into opportunity while growing and developing team skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions
- Maintains the integrity and security of systems
- Supports and develops automation
- Develops in languages such as Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js
- Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Composes and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, et al.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing
- Proficiency in the following languages: Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Linux OS experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers)
- Design and implement data processing and integration solutions using ETL tools
- Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations
- Prior experience as a Team Lead and/or Manager
- Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust
- Must be US Person (Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen)
