Job Description
Lead Graphic Designer creating digital, print, and scientific visual collateral for Red Nucleus. Producing presentations, infographics, interactive elements, and branded materials.
Responsibilities:
- Develop smart, strategic, and creative solutions under the guidance of the Art Director
- Execute digital designs and develop interactive elements based on wireframes, copy decks, and supplied direction
- Develop print materials with proper formatting, bleed, and color mode
- Apply and uphold brand identity systems including typography, photography, and color
- Develop infographics that convey narratives through text and imagery
- Coordinate with multiple teams and disciplines to produce digital and print deliverables
- Execute the Art Director's or Creative Director's vision for projects
- Communicate project status and raise questions with internal teams
- Manage projects through completion from start to finish
- Identify solutions for technical and creative issues
- Ensure work meets deadlines, budget, and quality expectations
- Stay current on interactive design trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Graduate of post-secondary institution in a related field (Graphic Design, Interactive/Multimedia Design, New Media, Advertising)
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a design studio or marketing agency
- Attention to detail and organizational skills with an enthusiasm for pixel-perfect work
- Strong portfolio exhibiting conceptual thinking, visual and interactive design, solid typography skills, and understanding of design principles
- Broad knowledge of Adobe CC, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Competent in creating scientific slide decks using Microsoft PowerPoint, including templates, graphs, charts, and tables
- Knowledge of Figma as a collaborative design and production tool
- Ability to understand scientific or medical content is beneficial
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and independently
- Self-motivated, organized, and accountable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while meeting tight deadlines
