Job Description
Freelance graphic designer rating and editing design samples for HumanSignal, a human data partner building AI datasets and products. Applying design expertise to improve AI model training.
Responsibilities:
- Rate design samples for typography, visual hierarchy, design execution, color, layout, and overall polish
- Follow detailed rubrics to maintain consistent ratings across high volumes of design samples
- Identify flaws in slides, from minor issues such as font size to major issues requiring full reconstruction
- Edit flawed slides using other slides as references to build cohesion across the design
- Apply with a portfolio, register on the platform, confirm identity, validate skills, and start earning on projects
- Do not create original designs; rate and edit provided samples according to guidelines
Requirements:
- Education in design or arts (degree or certificate)
- 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer, illustrator, SMM specialist, or marketing professional
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
- Strong grasp of composition, color theory, typography, visual hierarchy, and overall design effectiveness
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks
- Portfolio submission
- Identity confirmation and skills validation
- Experience with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or other modern design tools (nice to have)
- Prior data annotation or AI training experience (nice to have)
