Job Description
Lead Platform Engineer leading teams to design and manage digital service platforms at Kainos. Collaborating with diverse teams and mentoring peers in a people-first culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead teams to design, automate, and manage digital service platforms
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and testing teams
- Ensure the use of appropriate technologies aligned with best practices
- Act as a role model and mentor for teammates
- Provide technical leadership for delivery and support projects
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Proven experience in team leadership
- SC Clearance required
- Significant expertise in digital service platform design and operation
- Experience with Continuous Delivery and automation techniques
- Demonstrable experience with modern agile approaches and MVP planning
- Championing best practices in Site Reliability Engineering tooling
