Job Description
ML/GenAI Engineer transforming vast datasets into tangible business value at S&P Global. Collaborating across teams to deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy models for structured text generation, entity recognition, and transformation tasks.
- Train and fine-tune models using advanced tools.
- Knowledge about transformers, and experience in prompt engineering using Open AI.
- Experience using other LLMs is a plus.
- Build pipelines to convert unstructured text data into structured formats for downstream applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to integrate models into production systems.
- Evaluate model performance, accuracy and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in GenAI, LLMs, and NLP technologies.
- Experience in model development lifecycle and MLOps.
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, and Notebook orchestration tools.
- Experience with AWS -- Sagemaker, S3, IAM, Lambda, and containers.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Python programming and machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with Named Entity Recognition (NER) frameworks such as SpaCy, along with familiarity in using annotation platforms like Prodigy.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and practical applications.
- Proficiency in using OpenAI APIs for text transformation, generation.
- Solid grasp of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
- Background in linguistics or computational linguistics is a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
