Job Description
Brave Health LMSW providing outpatient mental health treatment through telehealth. Delivering assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy to diverse patients remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
- Deliver mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
- Complete client care for approximately 30 hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Partner with clients to achieve goals
- Use comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Work with patients diagnosed with mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Requirements:
- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning skills
- Comfort using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Availability for a full-time Monday–Friday schedule
- Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week
- Experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
- Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
- Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
- Required current licensure/credential, including LMSW or an applicable clinical license
