Job Description
Licensed social worker delivering remote outpatient telehealth mental health care through Brave Health. Serving Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial-plan patients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care remotely
- Provide care to patients across the lifespan
- Work with commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare patients
- Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Develop treatment plans
- Diagnose and address mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Requirements:
- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Unable to support temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses
- Private work-from-home space meeting patient safety and HIPAA requirements
- Fluency in English; Spanish preferred; other languages a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning experience
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Comfortable completing 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
- Experience with chronic severe mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
- Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
- Current licensure/credential such as LSW, LMSW, LPC, LPC(A), APC, MHC-LP, LPC-A, LMHCA, RMHCI, RCSWI, or RMFTI
