Job Description

Perinatal Social Worker supporting public health programs by evaluating maternal healthcare delivery and analyzing social determinants of health. Responsible for developing interview protocols and training for clinical review teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate maternal healthcare delivery and analyze social determinants of health
  • Develop and implement interview protocols for clinical review teams
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of maternal mortality cases
  • Translate clinical findings into structured case narratives for leadership reviews
  • Design training curriculum for Records Analysts on sensitive informant interviews
  • Collaborate with program administrators for qualitative research and analysis
  • Author summary reports and visual guides to aid clinical abstractors
  • Support analyst team during informant interviews, ensuring data accuracy
  • Participate in all recommended programmatic training sessions

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently licensed in Florida
  • 1 year of hands-on experience in obstetrics, antenatal, or postpartum care
  • Working knowledge of Social Determinants of Health impacting maternal outcomes
  • Strong computer literacy and remote collaboration skills
  • Exceptional professional communication and writing abilities.
