Job Description

Analytics Manager leading marketing measurement, dashboards, and campaign optimization at Rain, a DTC marketing and media agency. Managing analysts and applying AI-enabled analytics to improve client results.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze marketing data to provide actionable insights and optimization for client business objectives
  • Manage, train, and mentor analysts and actively manage their workload
  • Support digital and offline media optimization initiatives
  • Develop measurement plans and methodologies
  • Design and support Test and Learn Plans and experiments
  • Design, develop, and update campaign-performance dashboards
  • Mine granular datasets and explain what happened and why
  • Produce scorecards, dashboards, ad-hoc reports, and campaign analyses
  • Recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies and ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with Ad Operations on tagging and reporting accuracy
  • Integrate new tools and monitor industry trends in analytics and predictive modeling
  • Evaluate and apply AI-enabled tools, automation, and emerging analytics approaches
  • Lead improvement projects and beta test tools internally and with clients
  • Translate agency and client needs into analytics requirements and deliverables
  • Support new business pitches with analytics strategy, measurement approaches, and test-and-learn recommendations
  • Collaborate with account teams, media planners, internal teams, and clients
  • Present findings, recommendations, and performance narratives
  • Understand client marketing goals and translate them into optimization and analysis techniques
  • Cross-train team members and share findings, tools, and code
  • Build direct reports’ ability to work independently

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, statistics), Business/Marketing or Computer Science OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years’ experience providing marketing analytics support and solutions
  • Experience with digital and offline analytics and reporting
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel
  • Intimate knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience analyzing paid/organic social data and reporting on Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Experience with SEM platforms such as Google Ads and Bing
  • Experience with Linear & CTV data and measurement methodologies, including ACR, spike attribution, incrementality experiments, and MMM
  • Dashboard software mastery using Adverity, PowerBI, or Tableau
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools or automation to support analytics workflows, reporting QA, insight generation, or operational efficiency
  • Proficient statistical programming skills in R, SQL, or Python
