Job Description
Manager of Compliance Automation and Optimization at Wealthsimple, transforming compliance and legal workflows while driving innovation and data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive operations transformation: Reimagining workflows across the compliance and legal functions
- Lead data-driven decision making: Design and oversee robust rituals and reporting mechanisms
- Architect and orchestrate end-to-end solutions: Identify and analyze process gaps to propose automation opportunities
- Build the playbook: Develop and maintain business process documentation, playbooks, and training materials
- Champion innovation: Apply a forward-thinking mindset to identify and leverage emerging technologies
- Influence and align stakeholders: Partner with leaders across the legal and compliance teams to advocate and drive workflow optimization initiatives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in process re-design, business transformation, or workflow optimization
- A strong understanding of systems configuration, technical possibilities, and emerging technologies
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reporting, and extracting insights from large datasets
- A strong interest in exploring and implementing AI-driven solutions (e.g., process automation, predictive analytics)
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- A creative approach to challenges, leveraging technical expertise and a willingness to experiment with new tools
