Job Description
Medical quality assurance specialist auditing prescriptions, lab orders, and patient records. Supporting accurate care delivery at Defy Medical, a concierge telehealth clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy
- Send prescriptions to the pharmacy to be processed
- Review EHR to ensure all necessary information is recorded
- Review lab orders to ensure all lab orders are completed and recorded
- Communicate daily with contracted pharmacies
- Communicate swiftly and effectively to correct mistakes
- Conduct schedule audits
- Conduct prescription audits
- Handle medication recalls appropriately
- Ensure payments are handled properly
- Handle a high volume of charts
Requirements:
- Must be a Florida resident to apply
- 2 + years' experience in healthcare setting preferred
- Electronic Health Record experience required
- Electronic Medical Record experience required
- Computer processing experience required
- Effective communication
- Effective resolution skills
- Experience with Medicine/ Pharmacology
- Availability for Monday–Thursday, 8:30am–5:30pm, and Saturday, 9:00am–1:00pm
