Job Description
Virtual mental health facilitator leading scheduled therapeutic groups for behavioral healthcare programs. Documenting sessions and client services in the electronic medical record.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate scheduled therapeutic groups
- Deliver appropriate topics to scheduled groups
- Complete group notes immediately after leading each group
- Document all services provided in clients’ medical records
- Collaborate with the Clinical Director, Program Director, and professional staff to develop comprehensive therapy, evaluation, and treatment programs
- Follow company policies and procedures, DMHAS standards, and Joint Commission standards and regulations
- Participate periodically in staff meetings and provide training on therapeutic services and mental health topics
- Perform other duties assigned by the Clinical Director, including meeting individually with clients for support
Requirements:
- Maintain all applicable licenses and certification requirements throughout the agreement
- Meet facility and regulatory requirements for licensing, certification, or credentialing
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of DMHAS standards and regulations
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely client charting in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Experience working in behavioral healthcare preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
